Adriana Petkova Baleva, partner, LL.M., graduated from the Law Department of the Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" in 1980. From 1984 till 1986 she worked as a junior-judge in Sofia City Court. From 1986 till 1995 she worked as a judge in Sofia Regional Court and Sofia City Court. She has been a member of the Sofia Bar since 1995.

She has worked in the fields of civil, commercial and administrative law as a barrister and as a solicitor. She is entitled to plead before all Bulgarian courts, courts of arbitration and special jurisdictions. She possesses working knowledge skills in Russian and French.
