Alena Venelinova Gacheva, LL.M., graduated from the Law Department of the Sofia University "St. Climent Ohridski" in 2000. From February 2001 till February 2002 she was a practical trainee in Sofia City Court. Since June 2002 she has been a member of the Sofia Bar. She is a third generation lawyer.

Alena Venelinova Gacheva has worked in the fields of civil, commercial and administrative law. She speaks German, English and Russian fluently. She has publications in "Targovsko pravo" magazine and other editions.
