Venelin Nikolov Gatchev, partner, LL.M., graduated from the Law Department of the Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" in 1973. He is a member of the Sofia Bar since 1978. He is a son of a lawyer. Till 1990 he was a member of 11th attorney team - Sofia. Since 1990 he has been practicing on his own.
He has worked in the fields of civil, commercial and administrative law as a barrister. He has represented and defended the interests of Bulgarian and foreign legal and natural persons. He is entitled to plead before all Bulgarian courts, courts of arbitration and special jurisdictions. He possesses working knowledge skills in Russian.
Venelin Gatchev is inscribed in the register of the patent attorneys under No 215/01.10.2003 for the following industrial property groups: marks, geographical indications and industrial design; inventions and utility models.
He has publications in Bulgarian law editions in the fields of civil law and procedure.
